Softball Future is a college fastpitch softball recruiting report for high school players and their parents. Start with a free best-fit preview; the complete evaluation is a paid plan. Enter your player's stats and measurables and see whether she fits NCAA Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, NAIA or junior college (JUCO) softball today. Get the colleges that fit best on talent, academics and distance, plus a plan to reach the next level.
No. Coaches also weigh video, game performance, grades and roster needs. We show how your player's numbers compare with typical ranges at each level. A fit score is an estimate from those numbers. It is not a coach’s evaluation, and it doesn’t predict admission, recruiting interest or a scholarship.
Pitch speed (measured from 43 feet), exit velocity, home-to-first time, throwing velocity, pop time and height follow published recruiting data on recent college commits by level and position. Season stats, strength, bat speed, spin and movement use Softball Future estimates, and the report tags every stat as Published or Estimate. All of them are recruiting targets, not official NCAA cutoffs, and scores are adjusted for your player's age and competition level. The report shows the date each player’s numbers were last updated.
Leave it blank. Skipped stats don't count against your player, and the report shows which ones are worth getting measured.
By your player's level, academics and hometown. Top prospects see national programs, junior colleges stay close to home, and schools below NCAA academic minimums are left off. Academic fit compares your player’s GPA and test scores with each school’s published admission data, so admission odds are estimates too.
About 10 minutes if you have your player’s numbers handy. Skip anything you don’t have and add it later. The report updates right away.
The free account is a preview, not the full evaluation. You can fill out the full Player Card, see your player’s best-fit level (without scores) with a top priority and a strength, and view all six sample reports. The full report adds every priority with drills, fit scores for each level, colleges that fit, every stat by level, projection, the academic check and PDF reports. The full report is free with an account until December 1, 2026. From then it is a one-time payment with lifetime access: $79.99 for 1 player, $79.99 for 2 players or $99.99 for 3. Nothing renews, and you can update the numbers as often as you like. The Team plan is $299.99 one time for up to 14 players. On the Team plan, the coach sends one invite link. Each player makes a free account and fills out their own Player Card, and the coach can open and edit every report. Signing up is free and shows all six sample reports.
